3. Finish. Add cream, syrup and toppings to match the ticket, then hand the sundae over.

Each customer scores the result, and better scores earn bigger tips. Tips and rank-ups are what open new ingredients and shop upgrades. As the shop grows the tickets get longer, so a run that felt relaxed on day one turns into real multitasking a few ranks later.

• Read the whole ticket before touching a cup. Most lost points come from a wrong mix-in or a topping placed on the wrong side, not from slow hands.
• Watch the blend level and release early rather than late. You can judge the level by eye, and stopping a moment sooner is easier to get right than correcting an overblend.
• Do the stages in order for one customer before starting another. Juggling several sundaes at once is how tickets get mixed up.
• Spend early tips on upgrades that make the ticket easier to hit before chasing fancy toppings.
